President Muhammadu Buhari held a closed-door meeting with four south-south Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors at the Aso Villa, Abuja where they discussed many undisclosed ‘sundry issues.’

The governors were Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Nyesom Wike of Rivers and Mr. Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.

The meeting took place inside the president’s office after he returned from another stakeholders’ meeting in Kaduna following the recent killing of a paramount ruler in the state.

In an interview with state house correspondents, Dickson said they were in the state house to confer with Buhari on sundry issues relating to their states.

“My colleagues and I came to have audience with the president on issues pertinent to our country and our respective states.

“We had a robust and fruitful discussion with the president and he promised to look into it in any way possible,”

However, Dickson declined to be specific on the issues discussed at the meeting saying: “We don’t want to go into those details.”
