Air Peace has acquired a new a new ERJ-145 aircraft to boost its domestic and regional operations.
Spokesman for the airline, Mr. Stanley Olisa said in a statement that the 50-seater aircraft marked 5N-BXG, arrived at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport yesterday.
“Air Peace is very happy to announce the arrival of its seventh Embraer 145 Jet, which has been undergoing routine checks in Morocco,” he said.
He added that the airline was determined to ease the burden of travel in Nigeria and beyond now that it has 27 aircraft in its fleet.
”With this latest ERJ-145, we now have 27 aircraft. Do not forget that we’re still expecting some of the Embraer 195-E2 jets we ordered last year”.
He assured air passengers that the airline “is poised to interconnect various cities in the country” and promised more domestic and international routes like Johannesburg, London, Houston and Mumbai.
It would be recalled that at Dubai Airshow, the airline signed an order for 3 E195-E2 aircraft in addition to 10 earlier ordered.
