NCAA said in a statement that the governor made the request when paid a courtesy visit to the acting director general, civil aviation, Capt Chris Najomo in his office in Abuja.
Nwifuru was also reported to have shared the state’s broader transport master plan, including its vision for the airport which would serve Ebonyi, Abia, and Benue state as well as parts of Cross River States.
