Africa-Israel Initiative elects officers

The Nigerian Chapter of Africa-Israel Initiative (AII), a religious organisation formed to garner prayer, love and support for Israel and the city of Jerusalem within Africa and parts of the world has elected its executive committee to run its affairs.

Those elected were the national director, Jide Adeleye, deputy national director, Success Uche, national secretary, Jacob Joel, assistant national secretary, Godwin Nwanlem and national treasurer, Dukaye Ibama.

Others were the national financial secretary, Adesegun Adenekan, national publicity secretary, Ayo Odunayo, and national youth leader, Mr. Ibulubo Godswill while Daddy Ibulubo, who was the 2017 International Conference Planning Committee chairman, was elected the West African regional director.

All the executive members except Godswill are clerics.

During the 2017 International Conference of AII held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Winston Iwo, bishop of Grace Covenant Ministries, Port Harcourt, and special adviser to the Rivers State governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike on religious affairs was announced chairman of the body’s board of trustees and directors.

Until the new appointment, Iwo was the West African director.

In his acceptance speech, Adeleye assured that the council members would put in their best not only to create a positive impact on the members but also achieve the dreams of the founding fathers of the body.

The body, founded in 2012 by Norwegian cleric, Erik Selle, has branches in 18 African countries and in Norway, United States and Israel.
