The federal government on Tuesday banned 100 Nigerians from international travels for flouting the COVID-19 guidelines.
The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 which announced the travel ban via its Twitter handle also released the passport details of the defaulters, stating that they were restricted from travelling for six months.
“Presidential Task Force sanctions 100 Passports in Second Batch of those who failed to comply with the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 Test.
“They have been placed on a six-month travel restriction from February 5 to July 30, 2021,” the PTF tweeted.
It would be recalled that the federal government had, on January 3, 3021, placed 100 Nigerians on travel restriction for flouting the COVID-19 protocols.
The ban was from January 1 to June 30, 2021.
