Air Peace has announced the deployment of its Embraer 195-E2 and Boeing 737 aircraft on the Anambra route.
Spokesman for the airline, Mr. Stanley Olisa said in a release that the deployment was a follow-up to the approval granted by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCCA) that the Anambra Airport can operate B737-700 and equivalent aircraft.
Olisa also disclosed that the carrier had increased flight frequencies on specific domestic routes, including Owerri, Gombe, Anambra, Ibadan, among others.
He further said the airline’s new Embraer 195-E2 and Boeing 737 aircraft, with more passenger capacity, will be deployed on the route.
He explained that the new development means more flight availability for passengers flying Air Peace stressing that the addition is fulfillment of the airline’s resolve to ease the burden of air travel in Nigeria.
Olisa further said flights to Yola and Ibadan will be operated daily while there will be five weekly flights to Gombe.
“Passengers can now connect Owerri with three daily flights from Lagos and Abuja on the brand new Embraer 195-E2. These additional frequencies will take effect from January 28, 2022”, he added.
