Air Peace, on Monday, resumed flights to Makurdi from Lagos and Abuja.

Spokesman for Air Peace, Mr. Stanley Olisa, said in a release that the flight, which departed Lagos, connecting through Abuja, was received at the Makurdi Airport with a ceremonial water salute to mark the airline’s return after suspending services to the Makurdi route in 2021.

“We’re delighted to be back in Makurdi, providing connectivity between the city and Lagos/Abuja. We thank all the key aviation players and the Benue State government for their support in ensuring this comeback,” the ground operations manager, Mr. Ayodeji Adeyemi said.

The airline, according to the statement, would deploy its Embraer 145 aircraft for the three weekly flights to Makurdi.
