A socio-cultural group, Ati Annang Foundation, United Kingdom Chapter, has thrown its weight behind the Akwa Ibom northwest senator-elect, Mr. Godswill Akpabio, who is running for the office of the president of the 10th senate.
In a statement issued in UK and by the chapter chair, Ms Mary Enang and assistant secretary, Promise Unwene, the group said Akpabio has the intelligence, charisma and poise to lead the senate to make laws that will positively impact and provide the enabling environment for the government of deliver on its mandate.
The group said the senator-elect has distinguished himself in the public service adding that his experience as a minority leader in the 8th senate equips him for the top job.
“We appreciate the senator elect for northwest district of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio for putting himself forward to serve our dear nation, Nigeria in the 10th Senate.
