The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released has released a fresh presidential campaign council list and expanded it to include all the national working council members as well as serving cabinet ministers.
The list dated October 19 was issued and signed by the party’s national secretary, Mr. Iyiola Omisore.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to unveil the party’s manifesto and inaugurate the campaign council on Friday (tomorrow).
The initial list released by a member of the house of representatives and member of the PCC, Mr. James Faleke, contested by some members of the party, especially the governors who felt slighted as their nominees were excluded from the 422-member list members at the time.
The new list released by the party has over 600 names, including all the members of the national working committee, the federal executive council (FEC), the APC national assembly caucus and chairmen of the party in the states.
Buhari is the chairman of the council while the party’s national chairman, Mr. Abdullahi Adamu, is the deputy chairman.
The presidential candidate of the party, Mr. Bola Tinubu, is deputy chairman II, his running mate, Mr. Kashim Shettima, is the vice chairman, while Faleke retains his position as secretary.
