The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved March 12 and 26 for its zonal and national congresses respectively.
The party also agreed on the zoning formula for party offices across the six geopolitical zones, with each zone producing 10 national and zonal officers.
In the zoning arrangement, the offices of the national chairman, deputy national secretary, deputy national legal adviser and deputy national publicity secretary went to the north central.
The region comprises Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, and Plateau States).
The south-south zone consisting of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers states was allocated the portfolios of national publicity secretary, national women leader, deputy national treasurer and deputy national welfare secretary.
