Arik Air has announced the resumption of its scheduled flights after the federal government, through a court’s order, grounded its aircraft.
The airline disclosed this in a statement issued yesterday and signed by its chief executive officer, Capt Roy Ilegbodu.
Recall that the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) had last week Tuesday grounded three aircraft from the fleet of the airline pursuant to a court order over a $2.5 million debt owed to Atlas Petroleum International Ltd.
However, Ilegbodu said in the statement that the carrier had resumed its scheduled flights.
He said the entire team of the airlines had been working tirelessly to enhance customers’ travel experience.
“Arik Air is excited to announce that we have today (yesterday) August 8, 2024, resumed our flight operations.
