President Muhammadu Buhari is leaving Nigeria for London, United Kingdom, today, Monday, October 31, 2022, for a routine emergency medical check-up.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina disclosed this via his verified personal twitter handle @FemiAdesina.
The president had early in the day presided over an emergency National Security Council meeting in the State House, Abuja.
Adesina said Buhari is expected back in the country in the second week of November.
“President Muhammadu Buhari leaves for London, United Kingdom, October 31, 2022, for routine medical check-up,” the terse statement reads.
“He returns to the country in the second week of November 2022.”
