Capt. Mukhtar Muye has been appointed as the director of airport operations at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
He takes over from Capt. Hamisu Yadudu who has been appointed the managing director and chief executive officer of the agency.
A trained commercial and multi-engine instruments pilot, Muye succeeds has had a distinguished career in the Nigerian Aviation Industry.
Spokeswoman for FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu said in a statement that until the appointment, Muye who is trained commercial and multi-engine instruments pilot, had worked with IRS Airlines as the chief pilot.
