Nigeria has continued to record an upsurge in COVID-19 cases as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed five new cases of the disease.
The latest confirmation brings the total number of cases in the country to 70.
Announcing this Friday, NCDC said the five cases were confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory and Oyo State.
While FCT has three, Oyo has two new cases.
