Deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has left Awe, Nasarawa State in company of the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai.
Sanusi was dethrone by the Kano State government on March 9 and subsequently banished to Awe.
However, Justice Anwuli Chikere of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Friday ordered his release from confinement.
It was gathered that the deposed monarch who led the 2pm Jumat prayer at the palace of the Emir of Awe had departed for Abuja.
It would be recalled that El-Rufai visited the deposed Emir on Friday afternoon.
The governor announced the visit on his verified Twitter page.
It was gathered that due to heavy security presence journalists were only allowed to stay 200 metres away from the place.
It would also be recalled that in the wake of the dethronement, El-Rufai made the erstwhile monarch the vice chairman of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) as well as the chancellor, Kaduna State University (KASU).
