A lawmaker representing Lavun Edati and Mokwa federal constituency of Niger State, Mr. Joshua Gana, has enjoined Muslim faithful to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice, devotion and obedience which he said serves as a “reminder of the values that bind us together as a community and as a nation.”
Gana gave the charge in his Eid-El Kabir message to his constituents and all Nigerians.
In a statement issued by his media office, Gana said Eid Kabir holds great significance and charged the people not to forget the less fortunate members of the society.
He thanked his constituents for their “unwavering support and trust” in him as their representative.
He said he is “deeply grateful” to them for their “continued faith” in him as their representative adding that “it is an honor and privilege to work towards the progress and development of our constituency.”
The statement reads: “As we come together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid Kabir celebration, I, Hon. Joshua Audu Gana, extend my heartfelt Eid Kabir wishes and greetings to each and every one of you. May this blessed festival bring joy, harmony, and prosperity to our beloved constituency.
