The managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAN), Capt. Hamisu Yadudu has enjoined all stakeholders in the airport community to continuously embrace the philosophy to total quality management in their daily activities.
Yadudu who made the call at Airport Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality Sensitization Programme held yesterday at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos said it is imperative the stakeholders always ensure continuous improvement in the quality of service rendered at the nation’s airport.
The managing director who was represented by represented by the director of airport operations, Capt. Mukhtar Muye stated that FAAN signed an agreement with ACI 2018 for the periodic audit of its airport systems and processes with a view to improving on the quality of service offerings at her airports.
In her presentation, the general manager, operations, Mrs. Olajumoke Oni said between 2018 when FAAN signed up into the ACI ASQ programme, the agency “has recorded some measures of improvement in general facilitation as depicted by the ACI’s analysis of various customer surveys conducted within the period.
Oni who is also the ACI focal person in FAAN appealed to all stakeholders to “keep working at improving the quality of service delivery at our airports at all times so that we can compete favourably with other airports in our categories.”
