The ministry of aviation and aerospace development has released the list of 46 newly appointed directors for its five agencies.
The appointments followed the recent sack of the chief executive officers of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) and Federal Airports Authority Of Nigeria (FAAN) and their directors.
According to a release by the ministry, the government appointed nine and 11 directors for NiMet and NCAA respectively; eight apiece for NAMA and NSIB and 10 for FAAN.
It also announced that a director would soon be named for the newly created directorate of cargo services at FAAN.
“All the newly appointed directors are to get in touch with the director, human resource department of the ministry of aviation and aerospace development to collect their letters of appointment as the appointment is with immediate effect,” the ministry said.
