The minister of state for aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has said that the name and logo of the national carrier will be unveiled on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
The minister who announced this today in London at the ongoing Farnborough Airshow via his tweeter handle said: “Negotiating Aircraft orders with Airbus at Farnborough ahead of National Carrier unveiling on Wednesday.”
The exhibition a meeting place for aircraft manufacturers, engine manufacturers, aircraft leasing companies, and aviation consultants and marketers.
On Monday, Sirika said he would explore every opportunity available at the event which “brings the biggest and the best in the industry to attract more prospective investors into the Nigerian aviation environment given the ongoing efforts to establish a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Nigeria, concession of some airports in the country and other components of the aviation roadmap the federal government launched at its inception.”
