Flight performance figures released by Air Peace showed that the airline reported 98 per cent schedule reliability with 87 per cent on-time performance.
The airline said in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mr Stanley Olisa that it scheduled 2,566 flights but operated 2,522.
According to the release, 231 of the flights were delayed, 96 rescheduled and 27 cancelled.
The airline explained that 95 per cent of the delays experienced in September were caused by external factors such as unfavourable weather, statutory airfield closure, ramp congestion, boarding gate congestion and bird strike.
“When you deploy an aircraft for flights and just before departure, the flight crew detects a snag. The aircraft will not fly until the engineers do their checks and fix it. Air Peace will never compromise established safety standards.
