Catholic Priest and spiritual director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka, has said that God instructed him to withdraw his support for President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Imo State, Mr. Hope Uzodinma and to prophesy against them.

Recall that Mbaka prophesied last year that then Imo State Governor, Mr. Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would be removed by the Supreme Court and Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be made governor.

He had also prophesied that Buhari would become the president and continued to support him at various times.

However, making an about-turn at the Adoration Ministry Last Ground on Wednesday, the Catholic priest said the government had failed to protect the lives of Nigerians.

“Can our security agents and leaders account for us how many children, how many Nigerians have died in one week, under one month? Students being kidnapped from the universities and there is leadership? No. Either they are involved in it or they should stop it or what is happening will stop them.

“So, Buhari and Hope and those who want to fight, remember there was a time God said I should support you people but now God has asked me to withdraw and prophesy against you.

“For people to go around and kill our young men without trying them is evil. I’m just warning our governors. Nigerians are dying like rats and nobody cares; God is angry with leaders, from Buhari to the last. You have failed God.

“Hope Uzodinma who came here and put his hand on this altar and swore he will protect the lives of Imolites is now organizing the killing of Imolites and he wants me to keep quiet?

“I was keeping quiet until the blood of my brother was shed. Never! Whoever will support that will suffer. How Is it difficult for the military, police and DSS to arrest one person? What if the person you killed is innocent of what he is accused of?

“You killed Ikonso (top commander of the Eastern Security Network, ESN) and you are parading his body as if you have done anything. Go and kill poverty, unemployment, insecurity, you know how to kill, wicked people. God’s anger is on. No prophet will be spared if you keep quiet about what is happening in the country. If the leaders do not stop what is going on, it will stop them,” Mbaka said.

Specifically, Mbaka advised Buhari to resign or be impeached because “God is angry with him.”

He said it was wrong for President Buhari to “maintain grave silence” in the face of widespread killings in the country.

“I know people will say, Mbaka did you not pray for Buhari? But, I ask: did Samuel not anoint Saul? What are you talking about? Am I the creator of Buhari? God created him, Nigerians trusted him because he had done well sometimes ago, but now how can people just be dying?

“God will ask Nigerians: ‘Nigerians why are you crying?’ and we answer: ‘we are crying because our leaders have failed us woefully.’ If it is in a sane country, by now, President Buhari will resign. Quote me anywhere and let the whole world hear it. By now, with what is happening, President Buhari should honourably resign.

“We are crying because we don’t have a shepherd. All those that will fight, what I am saying now, will eventually suffer. If you (Buhari) can’t do it, either you resign or you are changed.

“A good coach cannot watch his team defeated when he has players sitting and watching from the bench. Either Buhari resigns by himself or he will be impeached.

“This statement is too mysterious and supernatural. I know that people will begin to fight it. The chief security officer of a country will not just be sitting down and not making any comment.

“Gunmen are attacking everybody. Why are you crying Nigerian youths? As I said, foreign nations have become a dumping ground for our ingenious youths. Young doctors and lawyers are running away from Nigeria to countries we used to be better than.

“What is the matter? Nigerians are crying, why? Because there is no security in this country,” he said.

In the event that the president refused to resign, Mbaka, called on the house of representatives and the senate to “impeach the President, if he doesn’t want to resign.”

“If the members of these two houses do not want to impeach him and they want to begin to fight Fr. Mbaka, something worse than what they ever imagined will happen to them. Disaster is coming.

Mbaka also warned that “if those in   the government fail to    find something useful for our youths, they are going to face disaster.”

“A time is coming when, if you are asked to be a governor, senator or house of a representatives member, you will begin to run because I’m trying to tell you that we cannot continue like this.”

“The leaders have made our youths suffer; it is time for civilians to make the leaders suffer too. Enough of this rubbish.

“Now, to feed, pay house rent, pay tax, and even to import products have doubled.  The international community cannot come to Nigeria to invest anymore. Are we living or dying?

“God is asking what is the matter. I am telling God now let him change our leaders for us…

“God is angry with our leaders, from Buhari to the last person in power. God’s anger is upon you, you have failed God,” he said.

Mbaka also praised the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, for championing the cause of the Igbo.

“Up till today, I don’t know who Nnamdi Kanu is. I have never seen him face to face. Look at my hand on the altar. But I want to tell you something. Wherever he is, may God bless him. Because if somebody has risen to shout that his brothers are suffering, is it a crime? May the lord bless his courage,” he said.
