The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Umo Eno yesterday sent 27 names to the state house of assembly for screening and confirmation as commissioners and special advisers.
In a letter dated 10 February 2025, Eno asked the assembly to confirm the nominees for the appointment as commissioners and special advisers.
The former commissioner for information, Mr Ini Ememobong, the former commissioner for finance, Mr Linus Nkan and the former commissioner for works, Mr Eno Ibanga are among those returning to the cabinet.
Some new names on the list include Ubong Inyang, son of a Supreme Court judge, Okoro Inyang, and Iniobong Robson, a former chairperson of Esit Eket local government council and former member, house of representatives, Mr Aniekan Umanah
Umanah previously served as the commissioner for information in Akwa Ibom.
