JAMB announces 13 top scorers in UTME 2024

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) said 13 candidates the highest marks in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The registrar of the Board, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this in a presentation at the policy meeting on the 2024 admission organised by JAMB and held in Abuja on Thursday.

Oloyede said three candidates scored the highest mark of 367 out of the attainable score of 400.
He also said four candidates had 365, one scored 364 while five had 363.

The registrar said when the Board released the results only 8,401, representing 0.5 per cent of candidates, scored above 300 in the examination.

He said 77,070, representing 4.2 per cent, scored 250 and above and that 439,974, representing 24 per cent, scored 200 and above.
