The publisher of the defunct National Mirror Newspaper, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim, has lost his mother, Theresa, in an early morning fire incident that gutted her residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos
It was gathered that the fire broke out around 2am and that the woman was burn to death before the fire fighters from the Lagos State fire service arrived to salvage the situation.
The police public relations officer, Mr. Chike Oti, confirmed the incident.
He said the remains of the deceased had been deposited in an undisclosed mortuary in Lagos and that morgue adding that investigations had begun to determine the cause of the fire.
