Leading experts in Nigeria’s aviation industry are billed to congregate on Thursday, June 18 for a discourse on ‘Nigeria’s aviation industry: Changing times, changing strategies’ organised by the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC).
The League said in a statement that the discussants at the webinar event would deliberate extensively on the negative impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the global aviation industry with focus on Nigeria and the necessary strategies to be adopted to stay relevant and profitable in the new order.
The panelists include the director general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Musa Nuhu, managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt. Rabiu Yadudu, commissioner of Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), Mr. Akin Olateru, group managing director of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc, Mrs. Olatokunbo Fagbemi, chairman and chief executive officer of Air Peace Ltd, Mr. Allen Onyema, and president of Aviation Round Table, Mr. Gabriel Olowo.
“The panelists will speak extensively on the requirements by various segments of the sector to stay in business.
They will also share progressive ideas on how the aviation industry in the globe especially in Nigeria could gradually recover from impact of the pandemic and return to the era of growth,” the statement added.
Beside the panelists, no fewer than 250 other industry stakeholders and professionals in different segments would participate at the webinar, which starts at 11am.
