The senate president, Mr. Ahmad Lawan on Tuesday announced the names of principal officers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of the ninth senate.
Lawan, at the resumption of plenary, named senators Abdullahi Yahaya and Ajayi Borofice as the senate leader senate deputy leader respectively
Mr. Orji Uzor Kalu was named the chief whip while Mr. Abdullahi Sabi was picked as the deputy.
Similarly, the senate president announced Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Philip Aduda of the PDP as the minority leader and minority whip respectively.
Senators Emmanuel Bwacha and Sahabi Yau were named as the deputy minority leader and deputy minority whip.
