Lift up your faith, don’t give up

At a time like this, we begin to count down the number of days to the end of the year.

Brethren, we are able to do this because His Grace keeps us alive.   It is time to look back and thank the Almighty God for his mercy that endureth forever.

This isn’t the time to give up or lament what God has not done.  Rather it’s time to lift up our faith.

Humanly speaking, when we realize that this is the 11th month of the year, we tend to look at expectations that are yet to be met.

The 11th month is the time to have a deep reflection and count the blessings of God.

If not for anything, we need to thank God for the breath of life.

Brethren, even if you have lost anything precious to you, remember that our God is able restore.

The eleventh hour is regarded as the last chance.    It is believed to be the time that one is running out of time.  How, why? You want to ask.

The 11th hour is the last hour before daybreak.   So, we expect that by that time, whatever we are doing, we should be done with it and be looking forward to have restful night.

It is also the time that you want to put behind you all that you have done for the day and begin to plan for the next step.

Brethren, when some people reflect, they focus on what God is yet to do in their lives and begin to think that God has forgotten them.

For a true believer, when it seems nothing is happening as expected is the time to lift up your faith.  To lose faith is to disconnect from God and when you disconnect from God, you automatically connect with the devil.

May you not connect with the forces of darkness in Jesus name.

Sister, for eleven months you have had monthly periods and you are dejected.   Have you forgotten that there are people whose period have ceased and they not pregnant?   Such people are moving from one doctor  to  another to have the monthly visitor restored.

So, for you that menstruate monthly, medically speaking, there is hope.

A Bible passage mentioned what happened to someone in the 11th year.

Ezekiel 26 vs. 1&2 ( KJV) ” And it came to pass  in the eleventh  year, in the first day of the  month, that  the word of the LORD came to me saying.

Son of man, because that Tyrus hath  said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:

The key word for us in this passage is “the word of the LORD came to me”.

Brethren, during this 11th month, you need the Word of God but what is the Word?

The answer is found in John 1 vs. 1 & 2 : ” In the beginning  was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning  with God.”.

The Word was God and till today, the Word is God.

JESUS is the Word.

Jesus said, John 6 vs. 63: ” it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.

In other words, the Word of God that comes to you come with the power of God.

When the word of God comes to you, every challenge would be over.

The word revives whatever is considered dead or unproductive in your body.

When the word of God enters into  a woman’s womb, that dead or dried womb would receive life .

Before this year-end, your situation would receive the Word of God in the mighty name of Jesus.

The question is can the word of God come to you when you have given up  on the LORD?

Unlikely.

You need Faith to receive the Word.

Those that have given up on the LORD   shouldn’t expect to receive  the Word.

As a Believer, rather than give up, when the challenges appear daunting, it is time to step up in faith because it is an indication that you are nearer the days of your testimony.

Brethren, many of the challenges we have in life were not with us from birth.   Many are either self-inflicted or affliction from the forces of darkness.  Whichever it is, when the WORD steps in the challenge must give way.

However, some do not give way easily that it why sometimes, the physical signs show that the turnaround is impossible but that is the lie of the devil and the only way to resist  it is by lifting  up your faith.

It is the time to put into action, the word of God in 1st Thessalonians 5 vs.  17-19 : ”  Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God  in Christ Jesus concerning you.  Quench not the Spirit”.

When you give up your faith, you quench the Spirit.  To quench the Spirit  is to shut God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit out of your life.

That would not be your story in Jesus name.

Brethren, this is   11th month,  is the time to thank God for what He has done and praise him for what He would do for you.

People of God, I may not know what you have lost within the year or that which you are still expecting  to manifest, but I know that  once you don’t give up on God, the Lord would not give up on you.

God has a promise for you in Joel 2 vs. 25-27:  ” And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

And ye shall eat  in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD  your God, and none else; and my  people shall never be ashamed”.

Brethren, those eggs that have been wasted as monthly period,  the LORD is able to restore with multiple babies.

That challenge  that has  brought you shame will vanish as long as you remain connected to the Word.

Not only would they vanish, they would never be seen in your life again.

Beloved whatever you are going through did not start with you  but with you in Christ that challenge would come to an end in your family.

There are families that when the men get married, their wives  remain barren.

I witnessed in Laughter Foundation,  the testimony of a lady, who got married into one of such families. Most  of  the women before her left their spouses because of delay in child bearing but  this particular lady made up her mind to remain  in her marriage.

She remained connected to Christ and got her husband to join her in fellowship.     The husband was a Christian by birth but  not in practice.

Once she made up her mind to remain with Christ, the Holy Spirit helped to draw her husband to Christ.

It was not long before the yoke was broken. She got pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy.

Do you know that a relation of her husband  came physically to ask her how she broke through.

She asked her ” Where did you go to, how  did you get pregnant, how did you have a child?

The  woman simply smiled and said, ” I stayed with JESUS”.

Brethren, had this woman given up, she would have lost her marriage to barrenness like other women in that family.

The Psalmist gave us a piece of advice in Psalm 37 vs. 5 ” Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him;  and he shall bring it to pass”.

What would he bring to pass?  Whatever you ask from the LORD that is in line with his word would surely become your testimony.

Brethren, the Holy Bible tells us in Proverbs 16 vs. 3 ” Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts  shall be established”.

In other words,  that challenge would soon become a testimony.

That issue that has caused you sorrows would soon draw tears of joy from you in Jesus name.

Beloved lift up your Faith, don’t give it up.

Your days of testimony are nearer than you think.

Very soon those that have mocked  you would celebrate with you in Jesus name.

Jesus is Lord!
