The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said it is prepared to collaborate with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in training and retraining its workforce.
The acting director general, Nigeria Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo stated this during a strategic meeting with IATA led by its regional vice president for Africa and Middle East, Mr. Kamil H. Al-Awadhi in Abuja.
Among the top issues discussed during the meeting were delivery on core mandatory requirements as civil aviation authority, cost-recovery, head cost, ticket cost and provision of both IATA and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) training and retraining for the staff.
