NCAA unveils Ifueko Abdulmalik as ‘Face of Aviation Consumer Protection’

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has crowned Mrs. Ifueko Abdulmalik as it maiden ‘Face of Aviation Consumer Protection’ (FACP).

Spokesman for the NCAA, Mr Michael Achimugu said in a statement that the crown is for the period of one year, after which, another face will emerge.

Abdulmalik is an assistant general manager consumer protection at the NCAA.

Achimugu explained that the FACP was introduced to encourage creativity, passion, dedication to duty, and excellence.

Besides, he said the initiative “is part of the rebranding exercise of the consumer protection department, and the consumer protection officers who are the frontline staff of the Authority that interfaces with passengers on a daily basis.”

He further said the rebranding commenced with the launch of new dress code for the consumer protection officers for easy identification at all the airports across the country and a hotline for the lodgement of complaints.
