Globacom has felicitated with Nigerian workers on ‘Workers’ Day’ saying they are the most resilient even in the face of the global economic challenges.
The telecommunication company said in a statement that the progress Nigeria has made in different sectors, including telecommunications, is mainly attributable to the contributions of the country’s workers.
It appreciated the workers’ resilience and commitment to nation building over the years.
The company charged Nigerian workers to make service to the country their watchword and use the May Day celebration to reaffirm their commitment to the service of their fatherland.
While calling on Nigerian workers to remain dedicated to duty and redouble their efforts at achieving excellence in the work place, Globacom advised labour unions to continue to contribute towards building a strong work culture that will help set Nigeria on the path of industrialisation and true greatness.

Workers’ Day, otherwise called May Day, is globally commemorated yearly in celebration of workers’ sacrifices and contributions to the sustenance of the global economy.
Globacom gave the charge in a press statement issued in Lagos, saying that building an enduring work culture that will help set Nigeria on the path of industrialization and true greatness should be the vision of everyone.
