The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has denied the report that it released post-COVID-19 travel guidelines for intending travellers
FAAN, in a press release by its spokesperson, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, distanced itself from a statement by one Tayo Olu dated May 16, 2020 to the effect that the federal government through the agency had published such guidelines
“We want to state emphatically that although FAAN is carefully and seriously working on a guideline, the release did not emanate from us as it is still a work in progress.
“Consequently, the Authority will like to enjoin air travellers and the general public to disregard the content of the said release.
“At the appropriate time, FAAN will release the post Covid 19 travel guidelines via our official communication medium,” said.
