As Atiku trounces Tinubu at Ahmad Lawan’s polling unit
The National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr. Abdullahi Adamu was defeated in his polling unit, Angwarimi Ward, GRA A1, LERCEST Office in Keffi, Nasarawa, by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi.
Obi won in the unit with 132 votes while the APC polled 85 votes.
Figures for the senatorial contest are as follows: APC (55), PDP (22), LP (42), NNPP (4), SDP (184), ADC (1), and ZLP (3); seven votes were counted as invalid (7).
For the House of representatives, the results are: APC (46), PDP (41), LP (30), NNPP (4), AA (21), SDP (159), ADC (2), APGA (1),
At polling unit 017, Agụ Awka Ward located in the Anambra State government house, the All Progressives Grand Alliance governor, Prof Charles Soludo scored zero.
Obi polled 61 votes to defeat the APGA presidential candidate, who scored zero votes. While the PDP scored two votes, APC had zero votes.
The LP candidate won despite the Soludo’s earlier directive to the civil servants to vote for APGA.
In the senatorial election, LP’s senatorial candidate, Mr. Victor Umeh scored 49, Dozie Nwankwo of APGA scored eight, Uche Ekwunife of PDP scored five while APC had one.
For the house of representatives, the LP candidate, Lilian Orogbu scored 51; APGA seven; PDP four, and APC zero.
Elsewhere in Yobe State, the presidential candidate of the PDP, Mr. Atiku Abubakar, floored the senate president, Mr. Ahmad Lawan at Katuzu Primary School polling unit 001B, Gashua.
Lawan is APC candidate for Yobe north senatorial district.
While the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu got 107 votes, Atiku won with 186.
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) got 41 votes, Kola Abiola of (PRP) got 2 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored 1 vote.
For senatorial, Lawan got 114 votes while the PDP senatorial candidate got 219; the New Nigeria’s People Party got 11 votes, African Democratic Congress got a vote while five votes were recorded as invalid.
