Compliments of the season. In the next 72 hours, it would be Christmas day. Congratulations! May the LORD give us the grace to celebrate more of the Yuletide season in Jesus name.
Beloved, just imagine Mary the mother of Jesus heavily pregnant and moving from place to place looking for where to deliver.
At that time, the unborn Jesus would be a burden to her but she must have a feeling of joy within her because of the child to be born being conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Also, her journey from a virgin to motherhood. This must have given her joy.
As we look forward to Christmas, no matter what you are going through, let the promise of God give you joy.
The joy of the Lord is the one that frees one’s mind from worries. It is joy that gives us confidence that the Light of God would surely overcome darkness in our lives.
Beloved it doesn’t matter what is happening around you, look unto Jesus.
Remember we are still in the 12th month as a Christian you should expect a last minute miracle.
Beloved, you may be saying to yourself that this year is gone. The year is not gone and it would not go away from you without your testimony.
Let’s consider the word of God in Ezra 8 vs. 31 ( KJV) : “ Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way”.
The key words for us in this Bible passage are : “and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way”.
Note that the passage mentioned the twelfth day. For you, it’s the twelfth month but what is important is the” hand of the God upon us”. When the hand of God is upon, us every challenge must vanish.
It also tells us that even challenges yet manifest would be taken care of with the hand of God.
Challenges could be in the area of health, delay in child bearing, delay in getting married, physical or financial.
Whichever it is, there is none that God cannot help you overcome.
The birth of Christ and our belief in the works that he did are the reasons we are called Christians.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 2 vs. 9&10: “ Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given a name which is above every name.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”.
The name of JESUS is what you need when overwhelmed by challenges. When you call the name JESUS even in your dream or in your sleep, it is a sure weapon the sets you free from any kind of challenge.
It is the last month of the year and someone is saying to herself “ oh I would soon see my monthly visitor”.
Don’t defeat yourself. Think positive. Begin to see yourself holding a pregnancy positive result.
Our God works in mysterious ways. Last Sunday, a woman that gave testimony in Laughter Foundation after years of waiting said, she was still having her monthly period and she didn’t know she was pregnant.
It was the movement of the baby that made her subject herself to medical checks and she was confirmed six months pregnant.
That is our God in action.
Only God knows why she continued to menstruate even while carrying a baby.
It could be the LORD’s way of keeping the child from the evil ones.
Brethren do you know that there are people who would rather have you childless because they have seen that you are about to have a special child. A child that would enjoy the favour of the Lord.
Don’t subject yourself to mockery. Cheer up and begin to prepare for the Christmas.
As you do so, you are preparing for your day of celebration. It would surely come and as long as you remain connected with the Lord. Stay connected with God, let the Lord be connected with you.
Another example of deliverance from evil in the 12th month is found in Esther 9 vs. 1: “ Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, ( though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;).
The confirmation of the word is found in verse 5 of the same chapter: “ Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them”.
Brethren anyone that plans to terminate your life to stop your miracle will replace you in the grave in the name of Jesus. The Lord will fight for you.
I’ll share with you the story of a lady that was barren for years and her in-laws were putting pressure on her husband to marry another woman but he refused .
So, the witches in husband’s family decided to eliminate her. Her mother in law called and told her to come home. This was a journey of about five hours from where the couple reside.
Unknown to them, because the woman didn’t stop attending church programmes and remained steadfast in prayer, God gave her the Word that saved her.
She was in a prayer meeting when a Word came from the Altar that “ there is some body here. They would invite you from your husband’s ancestral home, don’t go, it is a death trap”.
This woman got the word and kept it in her memory. So when this evil invitation came, she turned it down with wisdom. She didn’t tell her mother in law that she wouldn’t come. She told them to expect her.
Of course she didn’t go because the LORD had revealed to the evil plans to her.
That was how the woman was saved from death.
A few years later, God blessed her with a baby boy. The birth of the child caused confusion in her husband’s family. They began to accuse each other of plotting to send her away.
God put them to shame. God silenced them. They joy of the birth of the child was such that even her enemies had no choice but to rejoice with her.
Beloved, are you a couple waiting on the LORD for children? Your season of Joy is here..
As we mark the birth of Christ, show love to the less privilege especially children in the orphanages.
Very soon, the hand of the Lord will lift you up from barrenness to fruitfulness.
Do not wear mournful looks because of any challenge.
Open your hands to receive from the Lord this season.
Begin to prophesy to yourself the gift of the Lord that you want your hands to hold before the year ends.
The Yuletide season is the time to rejoice. It is not the time to give up.
Till the 31st of December, remain hopeful . God is able to give you a last minute miracle that would make you remember 2024 for good.
Do you know that we provoke miracles when we rejoice for that miracle that has not manifested?
That is one of the high points of the demonstration of our faith and people that do that often testify to amazing miracles.
Beloved, it is your time to testify.
A word is available for us all in Isaiah 61 vs. 1&3: “ The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified”.
I don’t know what constitutes ashes in your life but get ready for the beauty of the Lord .
