RwandAir has announced plans to expand it routes network by launching flights to Harare, Zimbabwe and Mumbai, India in April, 2017.
The airline’s country manager, Ms Ibiyemi Odusi, who stated this in Lagos also spoke of plans extend services Lilongwe, Malawi; Bamako, Mali; Conakry, Guinea; New York and United Kingdom.
She said the airline will deploy its new Airbus 300- 200 and Airbus 300- 300 as well as Boeing 737- 800 aircraft with on board Wi-Fi and mobile network on the new routes.
She said the unique selling point of the new routes will be driven by its International Air Transport Association (IATA) operational safety audit (IOSA) and International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) which is a guarantee of the airline’s safety record.
Some other unique selling points, according to her include good product and operating aircraft, young fleet with reliability, customer service, in- flight entertainment, on-time performance and seamless connectivity beyond its hub in Kigali, the Rwandan capital.
Odusi also said the airline will offer two piece baggage allowance with 23 kilogrammes for economy and business class passengers, while business class passengers will enjoy two piece baggage allowance with 32 kilogrammes.
