Kaduna State has become the hotbed of kidnapping as terrorists Kajuru-Station community in Kajuru local government area Sunday night and kidnapping 87 residents.
Recall that terrorists had on March 8 invaded the LEA School and the Government Secondary School, Kuriga in Chikun local government area of the state and hauled 287 students and teachers.
They later demanded for N1 billion for the release of the captives.
On Sunday night, they invaded Kajuru-Station community around 10pm, breaking into shops and stealing food items.
Punch quoted a youth in the community, Harisu Dari, as confirming the incident.
According to him, no contact had been established yet with the 87 abductees.
“As of the time I visited the community this morning, security operatives have not been drafted to help restore the confidence of the villagers.
“The villagers are traumatic with the sad development. The government needs to re-strategise in tackling these terrorists,” he said.
