President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, appointed eight special advisers comprising six males and two females.
The state house director of information, Mr. Abiodun Oladunjoye, disclosed this in a statement.
According to the statement, the president approved the appointment of Mr. Dele Alake as special adviser, special duties, communications and strategy and the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, as special adviser on security.
The others are Mr. Yau Darazo, special adviser, political and intergovernmental affairs; Mr. Wale Edun, special adviser, monetary policies and Mrs. Olu Verheijen, special adviser, energy.
Also appointed are Mr. Zacchaeus Adedeji, special adviser, revenue; Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special adviser, industry, trade and investment and Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, special adviser, health.
Meanwhile, 12 more are still in the works as the senate had last week approved the president’s request to appoint 20 special advisers.
