President Bola Tinubu on Monday signed the 2024 budget of N28.78 trillion into law
According to reports, Tinubu arrived who arrived at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, from Lagos in the afternoon, headed straight for the brief budget signing ceremony.
Those who witnessed the budget signing ceremony included the senate president, Mr Godswill Akpabio, speaker of the house of representatives, Mr Tajudeen Abbas, minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Mr Wale Edun; minister of budget and economic planning, Mr Atiku Bagudu, and the national security adviser, Mr Nuhu Ribadu.
Others were the chief of staff to the president, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila; national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Abdullahi Ganduje, chairman, senate committee on appropriation, Mr Olamilekan Adeola, among others.
