An array of top Nigerian celebrities spiced up the 2019 UBA Chief Executive Officer Awards Night held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos at the weekend.
The event, which is the bank’s unique way of giving back to the communities in every sector of the economy, was also attended by royal fathers, politicians, friends from the banking sector as well as business men and women.
Anchored by Bolanle Olukanni and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu with performances by Tiwa Savage, D’banj, Wizkid, Olamide, Patoranking and Phyno top celebrities who graced the event included Agbani Darego, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Linda Ikeji, Toke Makinwa, Denola Grey, Kemen, BamBam, Folu Storms, Ojy Okpe, Laura Ikeji, Ono Bello and Mo Abudu.
Also in attendance were the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Lagos State governor-elect, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the former governor of Ogun State, Mr. Gbenga Daniel, Ogun State governor-elect, Mr. Dapo Abiodun; the governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade and the founder of Zenith Bank, Mr. Jim Ovia, among others.
The chairman of UBA Group, Mr. Tony Elumelu and wife, Awele as well as the group’s managing director and chief executive officer, Mr. Kennedy Uzoka were also in attendance.
With multiple awards over the years and with matchless banking services, UBA also marked its 70th anniversary at the event.
