UNA inaugurates flight to Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport

United Nigeria Airlines yesterday launched its maiden flight to the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport in Katsina State.

The airline said in a statement that the flight which originated from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, was received on arrival by the governor of Katsina State, Mr Dikko Radda, state officials, traditional rulers, All Progressives Congress (APC leaders), and the Igbo community in the state.

On board the flight were airline’s founder, Prof Obiora Okonkwo, director of administration, UNA; Mr Linus Awute, Mr Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (Odumeje) and APC faithful including the former governor of Katsina State, Mr Bello Masari; APC national secretary, Mr Ajibola Bashiru; deputy national secretary, Mr Festus Fuanter; national vice chairman (northwest), Mr Garba Datti Muhammad; and national vice chairman (north central), Muazu Rijau.

The others were the APC national organising secretary, Mr Sulieman Argungu; deputy national financial secretary, Mr Hamma’adama Ali Kumo; deputy national publicity secretary, Mr Diro Meseko; former minority leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Onyebuchi Offor; among others.
