The senate president, Mr Godswill Akpabio, yesterday announced the names of chairmen of 74 full-standing committees of the 10th Senate.
Some of the lawmakers who named chairmen include the former senate president, Ahmad Lawan, former governors of Sokoto, Zamfara, Edo, Ogun, and Bayelsa states, Aminu Tambuwal, Abdulaziz Yari, Adams Oshiomole and Seriake Dickson; Defence, Gbenga Daniels.
Others are Jibrin Barau, Godiya Akwashiki, Buhari Abdulfatai, Osita Izunaso, Idiat Adebule, Patrick Ndubueze, Solomon Adeola, Usaini Babangida, Sani Musa, Abiru Adeyokunbo, and Abdulaziz Yar’adua.
